Alright, an actual journal update, how 'bout that. This isn't me turning over a new leaf or anything, this is just me using this thing properly for once. Ah, let's see, uh. Okay, so, 2009 was good and bad. I think it ended well. Christmas was better than I thought it would be. Everybody was still loud and annoying on the actual day but I uh, didn't seem to mind it so much. Happy times. Except when my Ma asked me for a wife for next Christmas. For me, apparently, though I think she'd be as much for her as well. Not even sure how to wrap those.

New Year was great. From what I remember anyway. I'm a little hazy on the NYE details but I was still alive and had the use of my legs the next day so Asher musta done something right. I seem to recall some...embarrassing, uh...moments but you know what they say about alcohol loosening the tongue. Fairly certain I was telling a whole load of crap to the wrong blond guy though, so thank God for small mercies. Hopefully. Never try to outdrink a vampire, that is the lesson I learned in 2009. And the beginning of 2010. I can't remember when I stopped drinking...

Anyway, uh, I had a really good time. Christmas and my birthday came early for sure. I got what I wanted and more. Speaking of which, I never thought there would come a time when I'd want to be forty but with the prospect of adding a one on the end of that in a few days, I'm really okay with just being 4-0 right now. I'm staying on my peak, still hitting it. Tap tap tap. See?

I can't believe we have to wait until June to find out if Bella says yes!
